North Crawford dominated the Ridge and Valley Conference track meet Tuesday at North Crawford.
The North Crawford boys edged Kickapoo/La Farge, 176-173, for the championship. DeSoto was third with 97 followed by Ithaca with 77 and Wauzeka-Steuben with 31. North Crawford totaled 144 points in the girls competition. DeSoto had 133, Wauzeka 117, Kickapoo/La Farge 87 and Ithaca 58.
Molly Jump and Ithaca 4x100 relay team won titles for the Ithaca girls.
The Ithaca boys also won two events. Isaiah Mueller took the discus and Aaron Kepler won the high hurdles.
Jump placed in three individual events and a relay. The senior won the long jump at 14-4 and finished fourth in the triple jump at 29-2 ½. She was third in the high jump at 4-6, and helped the 4x100 team along with Emily Mueller, Katy Stafford and Ashley Kast win in 55.83 seconds.
Stafford ran fifth in the 100 in 14.99. Kast finished third in the 200 in 30.36. Alicia Brisbois took fourth in the 1600 in 6:30.38. Kast was also sixth in high jump at 4-4. Kaili Klatt tied for fourth in the pole vault at 7-0. Stafford took second in the triple jump at 29-11 ¼ and finished fourth in the long jump at 13-2.
Ithaca’s boys claimed three places in discus and two in the shot put. Mueller won the discus at 122-10 ¼. Wyatt Gundlach was third at 112-11 ½, and Keegan Bindl fifth at 96-4 ¾. In the shot put, Brandon Fowell had 44-4 ¼ for second. Tyson Alvin was fourth with 39-0.
David Johnson cleared 5-8 in the high jump but was second to K/LF’s Ethan Wise. Johnson was fifth in long jump at 18-3 and fifth in triple jump at 37-7. Austin Durst placed sixth in triple jump at 36-8.
Kepler won the 110 meter high hurdles in 18.35 seconds and took sixth in the intermediate hurdles in 51.30. Durst placed fourth in the 100 (12.62) and sixth in the 200 (26.19). Connor Bloczynski finished sixth in the 3200 in 14:18.94. The Bulldogs’ 4x100 team of Fowell, Mueller, Mckenzie Foege and Jordon Aspenson was third in 52.42.
Anthony Johnson, Foege, Alvin, and Aspenson comprised the 4x200 team which ran fifth in 1:51.71. Johnson, Ossian Sharp, Stetson Clary and Gundlach placed fourth in the 4x400 in 4:21.32, and Alvin, Sharp, Bloczynski and Johnson were fourth in the 4x800 in 10;52.36.
Ithaca will run in the WIAA D-3 regional at Boscobel Tuesday afternoon.
