The North Crawford Track Teams hosted a small conference meet on Tuesday, May 13. Kickapoo LaFarge won the meet with 177 points followed closely by North Crawford with 174, which sets up for a very interesting conference championship meet to be held on Tuesday, May 20.
Senior Ethan Ingle once again controlled the distance events by winning the 1600-meter run in a time of 4:44.50 and the 3200-meter run in a time of 10:30.56. He also finished in third place in the 400-meter dash in a time of 57.29.
Sprinter Branden Baumeister also did well by winning both the 100-meter and 200-meter sprints. He finished the 100-meters in a time of 12.11 and the 200-meters in a time of 24.54. He also finished in fourth place in the high jump with a leap of 5’6”.

“This was a good test for us,” Coach Allbaugh stated after the meet. “It is a chess match between us and Kickapoo for the title and will be interesting either way. Feels like adjustments in the fourth quarter of a basketball game! Tuesday’s conference championship will be a challenge for both teams, but will be fun! I think our athletes are ready for the challenge.”
