SENECA - Apparently, the stars were aligned for the Seneca boys basketball team last week. When it was over, the team had three more victories.
The wins improved Seneca’s overall record to 8-4 and their record in the Ridge and Valley Conference to 6-3. Yessir, that’s more like it.
The toughest victory of the week was the first one. Seneca went on the road and bumped off Platteville 49-47. Ouch!

“They had some challenges, but they worked hard and did what they could,” Boland said of the Weston team.
For the game, Swanson led all scorers with 17 points. He also had eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
