While Hillsboro’s baseball team was able to squeeze in a game Monday afternoon at Wonewoc–Center, the Hillsboro softball team must wait.

The Tigers’ first two scheduled games, last Friday at Royall, and Monday at home against Wonewoc–Center, were both postponed due to poor field conditions.

Friday’s game at Royall will now be made up as part of a Scenic Bluffs Conference (SBC) doubleheader on April 28 at Hillsboro.

Monday’s game with Wonewoc–Center will be made up May 9 as a single game at Wonewoc–Center High School.

The Tigers are scheduled to get the season underway Thursday at home against Brookwood.

Hillsboro is also scheduled to take part in the Richland Center tournament on Saturday before traveling to New Lisbon on Monday.
