The North Crawford track teams traveled to Bloomington to compete in the River Ridge Invitational on Friday, Apr. 27. Again the Trojan boys were undermanned, missing key personnel and plagued by injury. They finished well in the meet in sixth place as a team with 49 points.
Host school River Ridge won the meet with 164 points, followed by Platteville 116.5, Cassville 83, Wauzeka-Stueben 80, North Crawford 49, Fennimore 42.5, Belmont 38, Seneca 30, Shullsburg 9 and DeSoto 6.

“We were tremendously understaffed for this meet,” coach Mike Allbaugh said of the meet. “The kids weathered the cold and wind and performed very well for the conditions. Things are coming together and now we just need to fire on all cylinders to finish the season strong.”
