BOSCOBEL - The team may be small, they may be young, but they can walk away from one of the more intense challenges they will face heading into midseason with their heads held high.
The Boscobel Bulldogs sent six wrestlers to the Bi-State Classic on Dec. 29 and 30. With 63 teams wrestling, the Bulldogs lacked the numbers for team placement. Despite that, they sent two wrestlers – freshman Braiden Pickett and sophomore Chase Beinborn – on to the second day of wrestling, with Pickett earning a 12th place finish at 113.
“Braiden and Chase both wrestled a tough tournament and are looking to improve everyday in the wrestling room,” said Coach Ingalls. “It is easy to see why they both succeeded at this tournament.”...
